In the restaurant of the Strandhotel Löchnerhaus, regional culinary culture, high-quality products from the Lake Constance region, and genuine hospitality come together. As a member of “Schmeck den Süden,” the Slow Food Chef Alliance Germany, and the initiative Gutes vom See, we stand for a cuisine that focuses on regionality, sustainability, and artisanal quality. Fresh ingredients from the Lake Constance area, seasonal specialties, and selected products from regional producers bring the taste of the South authentically to the plate.

Restaurant opening times
From Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays, our kitchen is open to the public from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In the afternoon, we warmly invite you to enjoy coffee and cake from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. In the evening, our kitchen will be open again from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

During the winterbreak between December 16th 2024 and March 31st 2025 you can not book any table in our restaurants. The restaurant will be closed at that time.

There’s a difference between fresh and freshly caught! At the Löchnerhaus Restaurant, the fish on your plate is freshly caught. Good partnerships with Reichenau’s fishermen allow us to prepare the best fish dishes for you. We also pay attention to regional links when it comes to sourcing other foods. And we make no secret of this.

Good things from the lake
The quality label “Gutes vom See” guarantees that the businesses, cultivation areas and raw materials used come from a 40 km radius around Lake Constance. These requirements are checked by an external certification body. As a host from the region, it is very important to us to actively support local businesses. As a matter of course, we always prioritise regional products. You can simply taste the difference: good things from the lake don’t need to travel far.
Taste of South Germany
What could be nicer than learning about regional specialities while on holiday? And Baden-Württemberg has one or two original products that you may have come across before. For example, Schwäbisch-Hall pork. We would be delighted for the opportunity to help you get to know our regional delicacies.
